ROLE OF IBM IN ICPC

IBM turned the number tables in terms of number of employees, market capitalization and various other aspects. IBM had a shower of awards not only for the contribution of its employees but also for the inventions and innovations in science and technology. IBM proved to be the pioneer in the information technology field and still continues to strive for the development of global innovation and economic growth. IBM sponsors various projects throughout the world and ACM ICPC is a significant association which IBM has continued for many years. The participation figures, both qualitatively and quantitatively, have increased dramatically since its inception and this has become the most significant and successful academic initiative which IBM has undertaken.
